The government will be launching the Green Deal in October 2012. It represents a generational change in dealing with UK housing stock, creating 250,000 new jobs and a solution to rising fuel bills for millions of people. A Green Deal loan will allow households to make energy efficiency improvements to their home without any upfront cost.
The Golden Rule - The savings made from the improvements must never be more than the loan repayments.
Only an accredited Green Deal Advisor will be able to produce the report.
